Tom Bayley: Sure thing, attached. The hole punch doesn't show up in screenshots so I included a picture from my laptop's (really bad) camera just to see how it looks. It's a Pixel 5 phone, which I'll keep forever if Google keeps coming out with giant phones I can't hold in one hand :)

Also just to let you know, I actually turned OFF the padding for the notifications, for those it works out just about right with the icon showing on the left side of the camera, and then text on the right side, and the additional couple of words that I can see per line is beneficial. So I don't really mind the camera obstructing that a tiny bit.

Shawn Keene: Is the "Notch compatibility" option enabled in the Extras section?

I've tried on an emulated Pixel 5 and it's working as it should.

Tom Bayley: it wasn't but it works great, I have no idea why I didn't try that. Maybe I thought it was only for middle screen notches but thanks for pointing me in the right direction
